The Department of Medical Histology and Cell Biology at Horus University was established in 2016/2017 with a clear mission: to provide high-quality education in histology and cell biology to students across several faculties. The department delivers specialized courses to first-year students in Pharmacy, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, and Medicine, ensuring a solid understanding of human cellular and tissue structures.

Our department is staffed by a team of highly skilled faculty members, many of whom are seconded from prestigious universities across Egypt. We focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative teaching environment, combining theoretical learning with practical application. In addition to our academic programs, we actively engage in research, quality assurance, and the continuous development of our curriculum to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.
