About the department

The Department of Clinical Pharmacology is interested in studying all aspects of the action of drugs and chemicals and their effect on the human body through mechanisms that regulate cellular and molecular functions. It is also concerned with developing new drugs to treat and diagnose diseases in cooperation with other departments of various colleges. It is concerned with studying the effect of medicine on all physiological functions of all organs of the body. One of the department’s main goals is the effective and safe use of the drug and developing the students’ clinical skills so that they have the ability to study and analyze clinical cases, the optimal use of the drug, identify common side effects, and avoid them, and be aware of drug interactions with each other and with foods for optimal medical care for the patient, using all possible means to pave the way of research.
