About the department

The Department of Anatomy and Embryology at Horus University - Egypt was established in the academic year 2016/2017, where studies began with the Faculties of Pharmacy and Dentistry, then they were followed by the Faculty of Physical Therapy and finally the Faculty of Human Medicine.

The department’s human resources depended on the complete and partial recruitment of faculty members from the universities of Mansoura - Al-Azhar (Damietta) - Kafr El-Sheikh - Al-Qasr Al-Aini (Cairo).

This strength of human resources increased with the increase in the number of colleges in which the courses in anatomy and embryology are taught, which are the four colleges mentioned above.
