Policies and Procedures

  1. Training of Faculty Members and Teaching Assistants
  • Target group: Faculty members, teaching assistants, and administrative staff.
  • The training officer coordinates with the Quality Assurance Unit to identify training needs through electronic surveys or official correspondence with department heads.
  • An annual training plan is prepared and approved by the Faculty Council every September.
  • Training courses are organized in coordination with experienced trainers, and participants are selected either through nomination or open announcements.
  • After each course, training materials are collected and archived (paper or electronic), including attendance records and statistical analysis of trainee evaluations.
  • Evaluation forms are sent to direct supervisors to assess trainees and are archived in training records.
  • At the end of the year, a follow-up report on the training plan is prepared and approved by the Faculty Council.
  1. Field Training for Students
  • At the beginning of each semester, the training officer coordinates with the semester coordinator to determine curriculum-based training needs.
  • Approval is obtained from the University President and Dean, with allocation of the necessary budget and establishment of cooperation protocols with relevant entities (e.g., health directorates, factories).
  • Official communication is made with training sites to determine capacity, scheduling, and student distribution, in coordination with academic leadership.
  • Transport and financial departments are notified, and visits are supervised by faculty members and staff to ensure organization and safety.
  1. Optional Student Training
  • Surveys are conducted to identify students’ training needs.
  • Specialized trainers are contacted.
  • Venue and timing are arranged, and training halls are prepared.
  • Reports are prepared, and certificates of attendance are issued.
