Graduate Attributes

The Faculty of Medicine program at Horus University seeks to implement a distinguished educational system that aligns with international standards of medical education and the standards issued by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation. 

The graduate should be able to:

  • Promote health and enhance human well-being.
  • Act professionally and adhere to medical ethics.
  • Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care, with a focus on primary healthcare and addressing common health problems in the community.
  • Appreciate the importance of a strong doctor–patient relationship and work to establish and maintain it.
  • Work effectively with other healthcare professionals while respecting their roles and contributions within the team.
  • Recognize the physician’s role as part of the healthcare system, respect hierarchy and regulations, and use administrative and leadership skills to add value to the system.
  • Contribute to community development and empowerment.
  • Engage in lifelong learning and continuous professional development, including participation in postgraduate education and research.
